OK since this is supposed to double as my blog I’d better actually… well blog.

Other than starting this awesome web comic, in the last two weeks I have also, turned 27, pre-ordered my Wii, been to Margaret River…ish and started playing Pikmin… which I finished about 20 minutes ago. Hurrah! … All in that order.

I should really break all that into separate posts but meh… Readers Digest version for j00!

Turning 27… Was not at all traumatic… some people complain and rail against ageing but I say Meh! It’s not that bad. Although this may have something to do with the fact that growing older has changed nothing about me in the last 9 years. I am as beautiful as I was the day I turned 18… though I have better hair now.* One day I’m sure time will catch up with me and when it does I look forward to taking my rightful place in society as either Statler or Waldorf (haven’t figured out which though). Till then I maintain that birthdays are one of the best excuses for getting all your friends together in one place and having lots of fun!

The Pre-ordering of the Wii… Was something I had given up on… I didn’t have the money… I was never going to get the money… I’d have to settle for playing with everybody else’s… However I happen to have the most amazingly generous, awesome friends… Now I am impatiently waiting for Dec 7 like everybody else. Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou.

Margaret River… We were closer to Dunsborough really… never actually saw the old MR. Went down for a weekend away with the Fiancée and some friends. They all went rock climbing… I got to relax and draw. Finished pencilling page 11 and half of page 12. Also went to some wineries, the chocolate factory (Mandatory) and generally had a good time. Still tired though… but that’s the price you pay for fun.

Pikmin… Awesome little game… and now it’s over. I started playing it a year or two ago on my house mate’s cube but never got to finish it. Don’t know why I didn’t, it’s very short. But that’s my only complaint. Might rave about it more another time. I have to track down the sequel, apparently it’s better… and longer.

Not only did I finish Pikmin today, I also finished colouring pages 7 and 8. Hurrrah!

* I said better… not good.
